Julia, a teenage girl is very excited to start her new life and leave her past behind. But, things don't go as planned when her past comes back to haunt her.
The book "I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter" grips readers instantly. You can expect a lot of character development, unsolved mysteries, and plot twists throughout the book. An open ending in the story means that there is a lot of room for interpretation as to how Julia's life is going to turn out. This captured my attention, so I decided to continue writing the story my way, and that was my Exhale.
My goal was to create a text from a point of view that isn't mine.
